Strong trade fair committee behind E-18
Preparations for the E-18 are ongoing. And now we can present a new trade fair committee and a new project manager who together will continue the success of E-16.
It will be a strong trade show, which will stand behind Denmark’s largest electronics trade show E-18, which will take place on September 11 – 13 in the Odense Congress Center. The trade fair Committee will include a number of familiar faces that stood behind the successful E-16 as well as new members in the committee.
The new trade fair committee will consist of Henrik Valentin Jensen, Executive Consultant of DI Digtal, Rune Domsten, Director of Indesmatech, Morten Kreiberg Block, Director of Arrow, Lars Kongsted-Jensen, Director of EP-TeQ, Geir Gåsland, Director and Co-owner of Altoo Measurement Science Aps and Consultant Per Bach. It will thus become a trade fair consisting of developers, producers and leading companies in the electronics industry, which together provide an experienced trade show committee.
A well-known face in the trade show is Rune Domsten from Indesmatech, who was one of the frontiers of the extensive and praised conference program at E-16. However, it is the first time that Rune Domsten is in the trade fair committee behind the electronics trade fair.
“I’m part of the trade fair committee, as I want to help identify and create relevant academic content for lectures and other activities on E-18. It was a success in 2016 with a new and different conference program, and of course we will build on the success of E-18. At the same time, I will help to optimize the framework for visitors, knowledge institutions and exhibitors to find new collaborators in technological knowledge, production, business or other constellations, “says Rune Domsten.
One of the new faces in the trade fair committee is Morten Kreiberg Block from Arrow. Together with his colleagues from Arrow, he stood behind the idea of the popular SmartHome on the E-16, and he looks forward to his new role in the E-18 messenger committee.
“At Arrow, we want to help develop the electronics industry, and of course, that’s why, I’ve said yes to being part of the E-18 Exhibition Committee. Today, electronics has become one
large part of several brand new industries. Therefore, my focus will be: be on how we best integrate the new industries with exciting talks, new exhibitors and visitors who will benefit everyone on E-18, says Morten Kreiberg Block.
New project manager for E-18
It is not only in the trade fair that there has been a replacement. A new project manager has come to the forefront of E-18. It is Søren Therkelsen, who comes from a position as Business Support Manager at Maersk Training, where he has been since 2010.
He is looking forward to creating a trade fair focusing on high academic content and networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.
“The work with the E-18 is in full swing, and while I’m a new man at the Electronics Fair, I’m sure that we will be able to make an exciting trade show for exhibitors and visitors alike. I am pleased to have a strong trade fair and good business partners who have experience and knowledge from the electronics industry and from E-16. I’m sure we can together create another successful fair, “says Søren Therkelsen.
