Massive Success Returns to E-20
The Production in Denmark area will return to the electronics fair E-20. This time participating companies will challenge visitors in their approach to electronics production and future environmental goals.
Once again Production in Denmark will take a close look at electronics production in Denmark as the popular area returns to E-20. This year’s concept is quite different and inspired by the rise in awareness of climate, the environment and sustainability.
– The members of the area agreed upon the environmental angle as an interesting approach. The environment has really hit the agenda in this country, and this can result in financial consequences if Danish companies do not follow suit, says Søren Therkelsen, Project Manager at E-20.
Investing in the Future
This financial consequence is precisely one of the main motivations for Production in Denmark, as they see this environmental angle as an investment in the future of Danish electronics production. Thus, the area will among other things focus on technology that is environmentally friendly while also cutting costs.
– We cannot get round the fact that there must be some kind of change and adjustment of production patterns and flow for the electronics industry to find its place in the governmental climate goals. That is why the area wants to inspire the industry and encourage action, Søren Therkelsen emphasizes.
In addition to this new environmental focus, Production in Denmark is also looking forward to presenting exciting news at the area. One of the most important purposes of the area is calling attention to the importance of maintaining electronics production in Denmark.
